Who I am
My name is Matthias Hamann and I am a Freelance Engineer for Media Technology located in Hamburg, Germany. With a diploma in classical engineering and over ten years of experience in the New Media Branch I can rightly claim to be a Professional in this field.
What I do
Basically I work as a Freelancer for the Innovation Department of Lufthansa Technik AG, planning and activating a wide range of digital media projects such as web microsites, interactive applications for exhibitions, product presentations or Graphical User Interfaces. Furthermore I develop web and ecommerce concepts for numerous small and medium sized companies.
Having a strong graphical and technical background the focus of my work is on developing mobile friendly websites, Web-Apps and digital video solutions. Supported by a network of professional IT freelancers I can offer a variety of additional services such as a wholistic Online Marketing consultancy including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Optimization (SMO).

About this Site
This website is completely based on web standards and the layout automatically adapts to different screen sizes and mobile devices such as smartphones or touch pads. Why that? Over 30 percent of all internet accesses are performed by mobile devices and this number is rapidly increasing. Can you afford to ignore these users by running a website that is not or hardly usable on such devices?
